Lemoncello Cartoon in April New Yorker Magazine

It's not every day that you see a lemoncello cartoon in a major magazine like the New Yorker...

And while there are lots of lemoncello brands out there these days, I'm partial, of course, to our own Gioia Luisa, the ORIGINAL lemoncello from Sorrento.

Which brings to mind that I've been remiss in this blog and have not yet mentioned the latest addition to the Gioia Luisa product line... Pomecello... made from pomegranates grown in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Gioia Luisa is the first to market this original product and has wisely trademarked the name "Pomecello," so you'll find it nowhere else.

From the Gioia Luisa web site:

"This pomegranate liqueur opens with a unique aroma, followed by a gentle sweetness and finishes as a tasty, slightly tart delight! This delicious ingredient is versatile and will take any average cocktail or dish to the next level. Sweet reduction syrups, sauces and more will delight even the most discriminating palate. Explore your culinary talents and let the creative juices flow! Signora Luisa suggests Pomecello be stored in the refrigerator and enjoy it neat or in one of our creative dishes and cocktails."
